Dominika is a London based Theatre-Maker and Visual Artist. She is one of the Co-Founders of Deadweight, an experimental devised theatre company, and works as a freelance Director.
She studied Painting at the University of Edinburgh before her Masters in Advanced Theatre Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
In her Theatre practice, she brings an interest in design-led making and the blurring of artistic disciplines, as well as curiosity for dark humour and the use of laughter as a political tool in theatre. Dominika is also drawn to examining corporate spaces and the impact of the modern workplace.
In her Visual Art work, she studies The Sublime in natural spaces, juxtaposing the vastness of landscapes with the domestic elements of embroidery, textiles and curtains.
Alongside her creative work, Dominika is also a freelance producer.
